SW Ireland photographs

Here's the pictures from a trip to Ireland over Easter in 2003.  The main areas are Macgillycuddy's Reeks, Brandon and the Gap of Dunloe.  All in the SW in Co Kerry.  There's pictures of the Reeks, Beenkeragh, Carountoohil and Mt Brandon.  A truly wonderful place to visit if you've never been there.

Bit of a path to follow in places

Now that's what I call a ridge! (Actually the path is off to the right)

Upper part of Faha (East) Ridge

Tim and Paul on the summit of Mount Brandon.  A typical view from what I'm led to believe although if we'd stayed only another 30 minutes we'd have got a view

Paul just starting descent down The Pilgrim's Path

Upper part of Pilgrim's Path

Pilgrim's Path as it descends past the Paternoster Lakes in a magnificent setting.

The path's so well marked you can't possibly get lost
